Pulling 3 weeks straight of 12+ hour days. Ugh. The only thing keeping me from shooting myself in the face is that I get paid by the hour. So -yay- for small miracles!
-
One thing that’s nice… I got my own office finally. I guess busting ass paid off.
I’ve decorated it appropriately as well.
-
Tired of the same asskissers getting away with what ever they want.
-
My boss touches me inappropriately…
-
@Jeffbob you know what they say… Procrastination is like masturbation. At first it feels good…but then you realize you’re just screwing yourself.
-
The boss hired a team of appointment coordinators and now our schedule is ridiculously overbooked for four technicians. I have no control over the scheduling anymore.
My coworker is out sick with a serious infection and I am left to manage this insane schedule by myself.
My boss couldn’t be happier as he sits in his office looking at fixed ops reports and is seeing money rolling in… Never mind the rampant thoughts of mutiny and desertion running through the ranks…

UPDATE:
I have since left the hell hole and went back to the auto auction I used to work for years ago. Life is much happier!!!

What sucks? Being a Work Leader and handing jobs out to my crew and they tell me to fuck off and then go smoke half the day. I cannot do anything because they are union and will file grievances on me and I will be the one in trouble.
How I get aircraft out on time is beyond me.

Do you have procedures to write them up for insubordinance?
-
I dont have much to complain about my job since I moved beck to the auto auction and into middle management. However, these corporate audits we have been going through since September kinda feels like the spanish inquisition sometimes…
-
@nicegy525 Yes, but nothing gets done. It takes 3 years to fire someone. Once you write them up, they will write more grievances on you and the management will either move you or them. Either way, once that is done, the next person won’t write them up just because of the headaches that go with it. So getting away with murder is so easy for them.

so its the slow season at work and I am going nucking futs without any consistent workload! Im stuck here because I have a meeting in 45 minutes so I cant just leave early! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
-
well, I am back to mostly hating my job again. I love what I do and the flexibility I have with my current job. I HATE all the corporate red tape BS I have to go through just to keep the wheels rolling.
Because of corporate’s inability to make timely decisions on things, I have lost talented technicians and have had to run a chronically understaffed shop for almost 2 years now… It is getting really old…
